Job Description

  • Lead electronics development, testing, and fabrication including coordination with sub-tier suppliers
  • Develop and review technical data packages, including drawings, schematics, netlists and Gerber files
  • Develop test and quality procedures for verification and validation of electronic products
  • Support lab testing and quality inspection of electronic products
  • Support implementation and oversight of rework and repair processes for electronic products
  • Work in integrated product teams of diverse technical disciplines
  • Perform technical analysis associated with signal, power, FPGA and other types of systems
  • Develop technical procedures, instructions, materials, reports and other documentation to support product development, manufacturing, rework and repair of electronic products
  • Exercise judgment on assigned tasks and provide recommendations on technical component design, adaptation, alternatives or selection to meet requirements
  • Support validation of electronic systems specifications
  • Perform PFMEA, RCCA, and FRACAS analysis and implement process or design improvements
  • Support research and development activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Training: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required  Computer Engineering or equivalent 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Required skills:
    • Experience in the design, build, and test of multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards with processor, memory, and standard I/O
    • Proficient in the use of Electronic CAD tools to implement schematics, layout, parts selection, and detailed PCB design
    • Proficient in the use of Lab Equipment such as DVM, Oscilloscopes & soldering tools
    • Familiarity with IPC standards: IPC-7711/7721, A-600, 610, 620, CC-830, J-STD-001
  • Preferred skills:
    • Experience with OrCAD, Allegro, and KiCAD
    • Experience with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-464

Security:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $110,000 - 120,000

This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
