  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation and improved commercial value.

  • Support digital transformation and wider business objectives through effective procurement strategies.

Commercial Negotiation

  • Lead negotiations with software vendors, SaaS providers and technology suppliers.

  • Negotiate pricing, licensing, subscriptions, renewals and contract extensions.

  • Review software licensing models to identify efficiencies and reduce unnecessary expenditure.

Stakeholder & Supplier Management

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across IT, digital, finance, legal and operations.

  • Translate technical requirements into effective commercial solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier relationships and maximise long-term value.

Governance & Risk

  • Ensure procurement activity complies with internal policies and governance requirements.

  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and audit trails.

  • Assess supplier and contractual risks, implementing appropriate mitigation plans.

  • Promote best practice and continuous improvement across the procurement function.

About You

  • Experience developing category strategies and delivering measurable savings or value.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

  • Confidence engaging with senior business leaders and technical teams.

  • Strong analytical, commercial and project management capabilities.

Desirable

  • MCIPS qualified or working towards the qualification.
