Job Description

Job#: 3053956
Job Description:
Role Summary
Marketing Transformation is Accountable, per the MMM & MTA RACI, for Strategic Decisions, Business Requirement Documentation, Data Collection/Sourcing, Data Processing/Ingestion, and Data Validation across both the Marketing Mix Model (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) products. The Product Owner carries that accountability but is primarily focused on vendor management (TransUnion), business stakeholder engagement, and product direction.

This role is the technical and operational engine behind that accountability: building and maintaining the data infrastructure, audits, and vendor-output stewardship that keep both models trustworthy, so the Product Owner can focus on adoption and strategy rather than data mechanics. This is an execution-focused role. Work is directed and prioritized by the Product Owner, who retains primary ownership of business stakeholder relationships and the vendor relationship.

Deep MMM or MTA modeling expertise is not required - TransUnion owns the model math and interpretation for both products; the priority here is strong data engineering and QA skill that can ramp quickly on how each model specifically consumes and processes data.

Key Responsibilities
Data Quality Audits (MTA): Design, run, and maintain recurring audits confirming that Spectrum-sourced input data remains aligned with what MTA ingests and processes; investigate discrepancies and escalate systemic issues to the Product Owner and TransUnion.
Data Engineering & Orchestration (Power Automate / S3 / Snowflake): Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines across Power Automate, AWS S3, and Snowflake (stages, external tables, scheduled tasks, and Python/SQL stored procedures) to support MMM and MTA consumption, reporting, and downstream analytics.

Pipeline Monitoring & Production Support: Monitor scheduled Power Automate flows and Snowflake tasks; investigate failures using flow/task run history and process logs, and catch and escalate silent failures before they affect reporting.

Vendor Data Stewardship: Act as the internal steward of TransUnion's data outputs for both MMM and MTA - monitoring quality, lineage, and consistency release-over-release, and flagging anomalies before they reach business stakeholders.

Data Source Management: Coordinate and manage the data sources feeding both products (media, spend, event, and business inputs), ensuring completeness, timeliness, and accuracy against BRD requirements.

Connection & Credential Stewardship: Maintain the SFTP/system connections underlying these pipelines, and lead the transition of any individually-owned credentials to appropriate shared or service accounts as part of ownership handoffs.

Task Execution & Support: Execute data and analytics tasks as directed and prioritized by the Product Owner; translate requirements the Product Owner has already gathered from stakeholders into concrete technical work, and support upkeep of Business Requirement Documentation (BRD).

Cross-Functional Coordination: Work directly with TransUnion, HMI/tactic owners, and internal BI/Analytics teams to align on data definitions, resolve processing issues, and support QA & Validation across both models. Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or a comparable cloud data warehouse) - building tables, external stages, scheduled tasks, and SQL/Python (Snowpark-style) stored procedures, not just querying. Experience with Power Automate (or a comparable workflow/RPA tool) for building and maintaining automated file-transfer and process workflows.

Familiarity with AWS S3 (or comparable cloud object storage) as it relates to data pipelines. Strong SQL skills and direct experience with data validation, reconciliation, or audit processes. Comfortable operating in a production-support capacity - monitoring scheduled jobs, diagnosing failures from logs/run history, and resolving issues before they affect downstream reporting. Experience owning or stewarding data delivered by a third-party vendor (e.g., a data/measurement provider) - comfortable being accountable for lineage and quality of externally-sourced data.

Ability to take a defined task or requirement and execute it into concrete data work with minimal oversight, once direction is given. Clear written and verbal communication for working with the vendor (TransUnion) and internal technical teams; frequent direct engagement with business stakeholders is not a core requirement of this role. Reliable, detail-oriented execution of assigned tasks - comfortable receiving direction and shifting priorities from the Product Owner rather than defining their own scope.

No prior MMM or MTA experience required - TransUnion owns model math and interpretation for both products. Working familiarity with how the models consume/process data is helpful for audit work and can be picked up quickly by someone strong in data engineering and QA.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior exposure to marketing measurement disciplines - Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and/or Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) - or comparable advertising/media analytics. Experience with media or marketing data specifically (spend, taxonomy, campaign structure). Familiarity with data governance or data stewardship frameworks. Experience in a media, advertising, or marketing analytics environment. Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
