On-site Every Other Week onsite / 5 days in Covington, KY
Our client seeks a Performance and Quality Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support custom digital applications and products that deliver business value. You will collaborate with engineering and development groups to advance automation, continuous integration, and test data ecosystems. You will influence standards, contribute to strategic decisions, and help set priorities while continuously developing expertise and sharing knowledge across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using industry best practices and tools.
• Deliver automation, continuous integration, and test data ecosystems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance application quality and stability.
• Build rapid prototypes, validate with feedback, and evolve solutions that meet customer needs.
• Leverage data to make informed quality and engineering decisions.
• Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Agile squads.

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of test automation development using Java or a similar language.
• Experience writing automated tests including functional, integration, and performance.
• Hands-on with test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, and Jenkins.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or ClearCase.
• Technical skills in SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Cloud exposure with AWS or Azure.
• Experience executing projects in an Agile environment and collaborating with technical and business partners.
• Ability to script automation tests from scratch with Playwright, TypeScript, and Selenium.
• Nice to have: Java with Spring, Docker, AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFront), Kubernetes and Helm, Python scripting, JUnit, Jasmine, Protractor, PHP and Drupal 9, API design and microservices, UI and UX fundamentals.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
