The Role • Realize new construction and modernization projects for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations up to 380kV in Western Germany. • Contribute to achieving climate protection goals by supporting the energy transition. • Assemble steel structures in 110kV to 380kV switchgear (air-insulated and gas-insulated). • Install high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment, and associated electrical systems. • Mount components such as high-voltage clamps, suspension and support insulators. • Execute assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, as well as pipe and cable assembly including cable pulling. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a locksmith/metalworker, industrial mechanic, structural mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Professional experience in locksmith techniques, ideally from construction, mechanical and plant engineering, energy technology, or the metal processing industry. • Experience working safely with electrical systems is advantageous. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to project sites with a personal vehicle. • Readiness for regular assembly assignments from Monday to Friday throughout Western Germany, including overnight stays. • Good German language skills and a motivated, self-directed work style.
