NTP Teacher | Shrewsbury, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are looking for passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers to join a community dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity to work flexibly and creatively, making a tangible difference in your immediate area.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science for young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 - KS5 through planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with schools and local authorities to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
• Be part of a mission to raise the standard of education for young people with SEND and other complex needs.

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
