Position: Architect - Supply Chain & ERP Analytics

Work Location: Remote (must work in CST time)

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

  • Our client seeking an experienced Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale analytics solutions by integrating data from multiple Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms across North America and Europe.
  • The role will focus on establishing a scalable data architecture, enterprise data models, and analytics frameworks to support Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Finance reporting requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics ERP ecosystems, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Enterprise Data Architecture, and Supply Chain Analytics, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and high-performing analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Data Strategy

  • Design end-to-end enterprise data and analytics architecture.
  • Lead data integration initiatives across:
    • Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM)
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
  • Develop and maintain a unified enterprise data model for:
    • Products
    • Customers
    • Vendors
    • Inventory
    • Warehousing
    • Procurement
    • Manufacturing
    • Supply Chain Operations
  • Establish enterprise-wide data standards, governance frameworks, and integration best practices.

Data Engineering & Data Warehousing

  • Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipelines.
  • Define data ingestion, transformation, and data enrichment strategies.
  • Develop enterprise-grade data warehouse and reporting architectures.
  • Ensure high data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability across analytics platforms.
  • Support master data management and data governance initiatives.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Design reporting and analytics solutions for:
    • Inventory Optimization
    • Inventory Visibility
    • Safety Stock Analysis
    • Supplier Performance
    • Procurement Analytics
    • Demand vs Supply Planning
    • Purchase Order Tracking
    • Warehouse Operations
    • Manufacturing Performance
    • On-Time Delivery Metrics
  • Work with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
  • Stakeholder & Delivery Management
  • Conduct discovery workshops and architecture design sessions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, supply chain teams, IT stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and governance throughout project delivery.
  • Mentor development and data engineering teams on architecture best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Analytics Platforms.
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Strong background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Operations Analytics.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Incorta Architecture, Data Modeling, and Dashboard Development
  • Experience implementing enterprise analytics solutions using Incorta
  • Knowledge of Incorta Direct Data Mapping and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with Azure Data Services and modern cloud analytics platforms
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other BI visualization tools
  • Experience with multi-country ERP consolidations and global reporting programs
  • Manufacturing, Distribution, or Logistics industry experience
  • Understanding of AI-enabled analytics and self-service reporting platforms

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Strong Architect with a blend of ERP, Data Engineering, and Analytics expertise.
  • Experience integrating multiple Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems into a unified reporting platform.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive enterprise-wide data transformation and analytics initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
