Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead small to medium water and wastewater utility construction projects throughout the Phoenix area, with project values ranging from $250k to $20M. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery, from initial planning through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients, general contractors, superintendents, safety managers, field personnel, estimators, and other project stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to represent the company professionally and make frequent job site visits. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced in water/wastewater construction, with proficiency in project management tools and construction documentation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and coordinate project teams on small to medium water and wastewater treatment construction projects ($250k - $20M)
- Work closely with clients, general contractors, superintendents, safety managers, field personnel, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Collaborate with superintendent and quality control to manage material schedules, work schedules, and procurement of job materials and equipment
- Prepare and complete AutoCAD installation drawing packages for field teams
- Produce and manage project billings, budgets, and purchase orders
- Process change order requests and related project administrative documents
- Complete and submit accurate project submittals
- Prepare and review operations and maintenance manuals
- Develop logical and sequential project schedules using Microsoft Project; maintain and update schedules and budgets throughout project lifecycle
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and compliant with client and regulatory requirements
- Represent the company in a professional manner in all interactions, both internally and externally
- Work from the Phoenix headquarters and conduct frequent job site visits throughout the Valley
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or mechanical engineering required
- 7+ years of water/wastewater construction industry experience highly desired
- Advanced skills in Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam required
- Basic AutoCAD experience preferred
- Ability to read plans and specifications for all disciplines on water/wastewater projects
- Experience with Alternative Procurement Delivery Methods (APDM) such as CSP, CMAR, D-B, JOC highly desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with diverse project teams
- Self-motivated with proven ability to lead and manage project teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project for developing and maintaining project schedules
- Ability to produce project billings, budgets, and purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Experience preparing and reviewing operations and maintenance manuals
- Ability to represent the company professionally and make frequent job site visits throughout the Phoenix area
