Overhead Line Fitter | Pirmasens, Germany | On-site This employer is a specialist in energy infrastructure, actively contributing to the energy transition by building and modernizing high and extra-high voltage overhead lines. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their team and play a crucial role in shaping a sustainable energy future. The Role • Constructing and erecting overhead lines in the high and extra-high voltage range (110 – 380 kV). • Performing maintenance and repair of German overhead line networks for reliability. • Safely and effectively operating machinery and equipment specific to overhead line construction. • Contributing to new build and modernization projects to achieve climate goals. What You'll Need • Ideally, a craft-based apprenticeship (e.g., roofer, mason, carpenter, scaffolder, metalworker, electrician) or equivalent practical skills. • Comfort working at heights and good physical fitness. • Proficiency in German language skills. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel extensively, typically Monday to Thursday, including overnight stays. • A responsible work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team.
