Solution Architect - HR Transformation Remote with occasional travel to site | 3 month initial contract | Inside IR35 | Competitve day rates

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture and design of a major HR transformation programme. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future HR technology landscape, ensuring the successful delivery of a scalable, secure, and integrated enterprise solution.

About the Opportunity
You'll join a large-scale transformation programme focused on modernising HR technology and processes. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and implementation partners, you'll define the target architecture and ensure delivery remains aligned with business objectives throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall HR platform architecture and target solution design.
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Create end-to-end process flows, data models and security frameworks.
• Define architectural standards, design principles and governance controls.
• Act as the primary design authority throughout delivery.
• Oversee integrations, APIs and Middleware architecture.
• Ensure compliance with security, GDPR and data governance requirements.
• Manage relationships with implementation partners and third-party vendors

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud or Workday implementations as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant.
• Strong knowledge across multiple Oracle HCM and/or Workday modules.
• Expertise in HR systems integrations, reporting, workflows and data migration.
• Experience defining target operating models and solution blueprints.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and SaaS implementation best practice.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive consensus across complex programmes.

Desirable Experience

• Oracle Cloud HCM or Workday certifications.
• Global HR transformation programme experience.
• HR process optimisation or HR technology strategy background.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
