Job Description

Do you have an interest in 3D printing and engineering technology?

We have an exciting opportunity to join a busy technical team, supporting customers with innovative manufacturing solutions and helping deliver high-quality prototype and production parts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in design engineering or 3D printing, who is looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive environment. Full in-house training and manufacturer-led training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity to build a long-term career within the rapidly growing industry.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare competitive quotations and lead times for customer projects.
  • Operate a range of 3D printing technologies, while scheduling production builds.
  • Consult with customers to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Provide technical support to field sales engineers and existing customers, including benchmark parts and product guidance.
  • Remove support structures, prepare, finish and quality-check completed models prior to dispatch.
  • Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Assist with the operation of metal additive manufacturing systems where appropriate, based on experience and training.
  • Work collaboratively within the Design Engineering team to deliver outstanding customer service and technical excellence.
Education & Skills Required
  • Previous experience of using 3D printing, additive manufacturing or a related technical environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • A proactive, motivated approach with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Interest in engineering, manufacturing technology and continuous professional development.
