The Role

LifeScan is looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to support the safe, efficient and reliable operation of its manufacturing plant and facilities. This is a varied, hands-on engineering role, supporting manufacturing equipment during the day and facilities plant during night shift cover.

This opportunity would suit an engineer with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a supportive team. Whether you have a strong manufacturing background or are looking to broaden your experience in a highly regulated environment, LifeScan offers comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role.

You'll be joining a collaborative engineering team where safety, reliability and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.

Shift Pattern

12-hour shifts (7:00am to 7:00pm and 7:00pm to 7:00am)
4 days on, 4 days off

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from engineers with a background in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance who enjoy problem-solving and working as part of a team.

Experience working with pneumatic systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and interpreting electrical or pneumatic schematics would be highly beneficial.

You'll ideally have experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing or similarly regulated environment. Familiarity with CMMS and document management systems, along with knowledge of low and extra-low voltage systems, would be advantageous.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
