Registered Nurse ED

• Location: Wichita, Kansas

• Department: Emergency Department
• Schedule: Part Time l Day Shift l Rotating Weekends and Holidays

• Champion individualized patient care plans by tracking progress, charting milestones and communicating vital updates to care providers and patients.
• Orchestrate multidisciplinary care teams to deliver seamless, holistic treatment throughout each patient’s stay.
• Execute physician and advanced nursing orders to ensure timely interventions and optimal clinical outcomes
• Prepare patients and families for admission or discharge by delivering clear, compassionate education on emergent diagnosis, home medications and necessary follow-up care.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Work Experience:

• 1 plus years RN experience in ED

Additional Preferences:

• 1 plus years RN experience in ICU
