Standards that have driven McLaren for over 60 years.
And if you’re ready for the challenge, that standard is yours to own.
Burning enthusiasm. Constant improvement. The thrill in the pursuit of better.
That’s how we build a legacy. And how you build a career here.
Because racing isn’t just something we do. It’s who we are.
We are racers.
Are you?
What You'll Do
To build accurate and reliable financial plans, communicating and reporting performance to provide management with effective decision support.
Working within Commercial, you’ll build strong relationships across the business, developing, reporting and supporting adherence to financial plans. Key responsibilities include:

- Prepare budgets and forecasts, respond to ad hoc requirements and maintain a long-term forecast aligned to core objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders across licensing, business development and marketing to support agile decisions that protect budgets and enhance return on investment.
- Own delivery of Commercial Finance monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles.
- Review the Commercial Business Unit month-end close process, working collaboratively with wider Finance teams to support its completion and accuracy.
- Maintain forecasting and budgeting templates and develop robust budgetary controls.
- Develop internal Workday and Power BI reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate across Finance to plan and deliver them.
- Build trusted internal and external stakeholder relationships, providing insight and constructive challenge to support short and long-term decision-making.
- Analyse data and turn it into useful, insightful information for stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
You’ll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with strong analytical capability and attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable providing insight to senior stakeholders and operating effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
You’ll also bring:
- Excellent Excel and IT skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise, organise and deliver effectively to deadlines.
- Confidence identifying financial risk and opportunity.
- A creative problem-solving approach, using technical skills and relationships to implement solutions.
- The drive and determination to deliver results.
- Professional curiosity and a focus on continual improvement.
- Workday and Power BI experience is desirable.
- The ability to nurture and develop junior team members and support their broader development and progression.

Every role has the potential to drive high performance. You'll be part of a team united by a shared ambition to push boundaries and embody our racing mindset. We invest in our people through opportunities to develop and grow, creating an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.
Alongside a range of wellbeing initiatives and development opportunities, we're committed to helping you build a rewarding career and make your mark at McLaren Racing.
