Job Description

FM is seeking an Equipment Risk Group Manager to oversee risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for workplace and facilities technology across our client portfolio. In this role, you will lead a small team to evaluate equipment reliability, vendor performance, lifecycle risk, and compliance for FM's software-enabled building operations. You will partner with product, implementation, and customer success teams to define risk standards, monitor key metrics, and respond to incidents. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, asset management experience, and the ability to communicate complex risk insights to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead equipment risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across client facilities portfolios
  • Develop and maintain risk frameworks, standards, and controls for equipment and workplace technologies
  • Analyze asset performance, failure trends, and incident data to prioritize risk reduction initiatives
  • Collaborate with product, implementation, and customer success teams to embed risk controls into FM solutions
  • Oversee vendor and contractor risk related to maintenance, inspections, and critical equipment services
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and industry standards
  • Prepare risk reports and dashboards for internal leadership and key client stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor a small team, assigning work, reviewing analyses, and building risk capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and optimize lifecycle costs
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and tracked
