Quick Overview
Job Description
KRUSH Tech is a new technology company building advanced hardware solutions for defense, aerospace, communications, and autonomous systems. We're launching our U.S. operations from the ground up — and this is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning and help shape the company from day one.
At KRUSH Tech, we combine the agility of a startup with the ambition to tackle some of the industry's most demanding engineering challenges. Our teams work across disciplines—including RF, embedded systems, electronics, mechanical engineering, software, manufacturing, and supply chain—to transform innovative ideas into reliable, production-ready solutions. We are building a next-generation, vertically integrated aerospace organization focused on advanced uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), autonomy, sensing technologies, and scalable manufacturing — for the U.S. market and strategic partners.
We are seeking an experienced Lead RF Systems Engineer to drive the architecture, development, and delivery of advanced RF and telecommunications systems for next-generation defense applications. This is a technical leadership role responsible for defining system architecture, guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams, and making critical technical decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in RF system design with strong leadership skills and experience delivering complex, high-reliability products in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative engineering approaches and methodologies for advanced RF and telecommunications systems.
- Define RF and microwave system architecture at both product and platform levels.
- Make independent, complex technical decisions while providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Balance system performance, cost, manufacturability, compliance, reliability, and program objectives throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead and manage RF engineering projects from concept through production and sustainment.
- Define and develop architectures for RF and microwave devices and systems.
- Conduct technical design reviews, engineering assessments, and architecture evaluations.
- Evaluate technical risks, trade-offs, and system-level design decisions to ensure optimal product performance.
- Develop validation strategies, verification plans, and scalable RF designs that support manufacturing and future platform expansion.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards, including FCC, ETSI, and related certification requirements.
- Organize, coordinate, mentor, and lead RF engineering teams to achieve technical and program objectives.
- Conduct technical interviews and contribute to engineering hiring and talent development.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
- 6+ years of professional experience in RF, microwave, or telecommunications engineering.
- Proven expertise in RF/Telecom system architecture at the product and platform level.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing complex cross-functional development projects.
- Strong understanding of RF system integration, validation, and production readiness.
- Demonstrated ability to assess technical risks and make sound engineering trade-off decisions.
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards and certification requirements, including FCC, ETSI, and related compliance frameworks.
- Experience developing validation strategies, test methodologies, and scalable RF designs for production environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and technical mentoring skills.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. security clearance may be required, depending on program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing RF systems for defense, aerospace, electronic warfare, radar, satellite communications, or secure communications applications.
- Familiarity with military standards (MIL-STD), environmental qualification testing, and defense product development.
- Experience supporting products from concept through production and field deployment.
- Health Care Plan
- Retirement Plan
- Paid Time Off
- Family Leave
- Free Food & Snacks
