Job Description

Automotive Glass Technician with Lead Function | Nördlingen, Germany | On-site

We're hiring for a leading automotive glass repair and replacement company, recognized as experts in Germany with a vast network of service centers and mobile units. We pride ourselves on delivering safety, reliability, and the highest quality standards through exceptional dedication.

The Role

  • Responsible for the repair and replacement of vehicle glass, including the calibration of driver assistance systems.
  • Assume the additional role of "Operations Manager (HWK)" overseeing technical and operational aspects, ensuring adherence to company standards, and managing daily operations.
  • Provide customer consultation and support from order acceptance through vehicle handover, maintaining a high level of service orientation.
  • Handle invoicing, manage customer funds, and manage incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Conduct quality assurance measures, manage inventory, and ensure audit-relevant standards and corrective actions are implemented.

What You'll Need

  • Completed trade apprenticeship with several years of professional experience, ideally as a Master Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechatronics Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or Bodywork Mechanic.
  • Willingness to undergo the required certification or already possess the "Operations Manager (HWK)" qualification.
  • A valid Class B driver's license, good German language skills, and PC proficiency.
  • Strong customer and service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team while also demonstrating independent work habits and fostering trust.

What's On Offer

  • Starting salary of at least 3,200 EUR gross per month for full-time employment (39 hours/week), with part-time options available.
  • An additional 300 EUR gross per month as an operations management allowance, plus supplements for extra responsibilities.
  • Annual vacation pay (1,062 EUR gross) and Christmas bonus (1,062 EUR gross).
  • 30 days of annual leave, plus additional special leave and sabbatical options.
