SAP SAC Technical Analytics Consultant
Location: Naples, FL Remote
Job Type: Contract, or Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: 10/05
Position Overview
Mako Professionals is partnering with a client to identify an experienced SAP SAC Technical Consultant to help build and strengthen its enterprise analytics capabilities.
This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on the architecture, data modeling, integration, and foundational development behind SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) rather than simply creating reports and dashboards.
The organization is looking for someone who can evaluate its current SAP data landscape, determine how different data sources should be connected, and build the technical foundation required to deliver scalable and meaningful analytics.
The ideal candidate has strong SAP technical experience, understands how data moves across SAP environments, and can independently determine the best approach for bringing multiple data sources together within an SAC analytics architecture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain data models supporting SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Build the underlying technical architecture required to support enterprise analytics and reporting.
  • Evaluate SAP and non-SAP data sources and determine the most effective methods for integrating data into SAC.
  • Develop and maintain CDS views and other foundational SAP data structures.
  • Design solutions that connect data across multiple SAP applications, modules, and business processes.
  • Establish scalable and efficient approaches for accessing, modeling, and presenting operational data.
  • Troubleshoot data integration, modeling, and analytics issues across the SAP environment.
  • Work directly with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions within SAP SAC.
  • Help establish baseline operational metrics and improve visibility into business performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal team members as the organization's analytics capabilities mature.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing data structures, integrations, and analytics processes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Strong technical understanding of SAP ERP environments and underlying data structures.
  • Experience designing and developing SAC data models and analytics architecture.
  • Hands-on experience creating and working with CDS views.
  • Experience integrating and connecting multiple SAP and non-SAP data sources.
  • Ability to understand complex data relationships and determine how information should be structured for analytics.
  • Experience building analytics environments or capabilities from the ground up.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to SAP data, integrations, and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical analytics initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience helping an organization establish or mature its SAP SAC analytics environment.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar modern SAP ERP environments.
  • Experience working within government, public sector, or similarly structured organizations.
  • Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior analytics resources.
