Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and versatile Social Media Graphic Designer & Content Creator to join a dynamic social media team supporting a technology-focused business.

The ideal candidate will combine strong graphic design, animation, video editing, and social-first content creation skills. This role will bring brand assets to life across social platforms through original graphics, motion, and short-form video.

The position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, managing deadlines in an asynchronous environment, and proactively identifying new social media trends and content opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and iterate social-first design assets using Figma, including swipeable carousels and animated graphics.
  • Maintain visual consistency and brand standards across all creative deliverables.
  • Design graphics, motion graphics, and animations for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Transform content such as white papers, webpages, and blog posts into engaging social assets.
  • Concept, shoot, and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels and other social-first formats.
  • Manage video production from raw footage through final edit.
  • Appear on camera for talking-head and social-first video content when required.
  • Edit long-form videos into engaging, platform-ready short-form content.
  • Monitor social media trends and proactively bring new content ideas to the team.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with distributed social, brand, and product marketing teams.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables independently with minimal supervision.
  • Support periodic onsite content capture when in-person production is required.
  • Utilize AI-powered creative tools where appropriate to improve content production.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Figma.
  • Demonstrated experience creating both static graphics and animations.
  • Proven experience creating and editing short-form video.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and social-first video formats.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and creating talking-head content.
  • Experience creating content for multiple social media platforms.
  • Understanding of platform-specific content formats and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and asynchronously.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in technology, enterprise, or B2B environments.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Experience repurposing long-form content into social-first assets.
