Role Description

The Senior Cloud Solution Architect will provide overall technical leadership for the AWS migration. This individual will be responsible for defining the target-state architecture, establishing migration patterns and standards, validating solution designs, and ensuring that all application, infrastructure, security, and operational requirements are addressed throughout the program lifecycle.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $140k - $160k/year & benefits (see below).

Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise architecture and software engineering experience.
• 8+ years designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale cloud migration and modernization programs.
• Deep expertise in AWS services, cloud-native architectures, infrastructure automation, resiliency, security, and disaster recovery.
• Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior technology and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern the target-state architecture.
• Lead application assessment and migration strategy development.
• Establish architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails.
• Provide technical oversight for migration, testing, cutover, and decommissioning activities.
• Identify and mitigate architectural, operational, and security risks.
• Support governance, design reviews, and executive-level decision making.
