Job Description

120-125k REMOTE -  WORKDAY

 

This is a senior level functional/technical applications role focused on Workday Recruiting and Reporting within a large healthcare environment. The position is designed for someone who can serve as a subject matter expert, lead configuration and optimization projects, support business process improvement, troubleshoot system issues, and work cross-functionally with stakeholders and vendors.

 

The right candidate will be someone who can operate with minimal oversight, manage projects end-to-end, advise junior team members, and drive improvements in system workflows, reporting, and application performance. This person should be comfortable balancing hands on system support/configuration, project leadership, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Because this role supports a health system, the ideal candidate should also be comfortable in a complex, mission-critical environment where urgent issue resolution, cross-functional coordination, and off-hours/on- call support are part of the job.

1. Strong Workday Recruiting expertise

 

  • Deep hands-on experience supporting, configuring, optimizing, or administering Workday Recruiting
  • Ability to translate business needs into system solutions

 

2. Reporting experience within Workday

  • Experience building, modifying, or supporting Workday reports
  • Ability to use reporting to support business decisions, recruiting operations, and process visibility

 

3. Enterprise application experience

 

  • Background working in large enterprise systems such as ERP, EHR, ITSM, HRIS, or similar platforms
  • Comfortable in highly structured, cross-functional environments

 

4. Application configuration / troubleshooting / support

 

  • Ability to investigate issues, resolve system/configuration problems, and partner with vendors
  • Experience with configuration, security, testing, workflow documentation, and support processes

 

5. Project leadership and stakeholder communication

  • Proven ability to lead projects, manage workstreams, run meetings, and communicate with staff at all levels
  • Must be able to work independently and function as a senior advisor/SME
