Detailed Job Description:

Seeking a senior platform engineer tolead the migration of the internal platform from its current RKE-baseddeployment to OpenShift. This is an ownership role - the candidate will drivethe migration from design through to full productization and operational handover,working closely with SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end migrationof the platform from RKE to OpenShift from design through build, testing, andfull productization.
• Take/participate in platformre-architecture decisions in collaboration with SMEs
• Stand up and configure theOpenShift environment, ensuring parity and improvement over the existingRKE-based platform.
• Implement fulloperationalization: monitoring, alerting, and alarm integration for the newplatform.
• Manage onboarding of L1/L2support teams onto the new platform, including runbooks and supportprocesses.
• Take complete technicalownership of the migration programme, coordinating with cross-functionalstakeholders.
• Support APIGee platformintegration points as required

Required Skills &Experience

• Strong hands-on expertise in OpenShift(design, deployment, and administration).
• Strong understanding /experience of RKE (the platform being migrated away from).
• Experience withplatform/infrastructure migration projects, ideally in a telecom or networkoperator environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring/alerting/observabilitytooling and operationalization practices.
• Ability to work independentlyand take end-to-end ownership of a transformation programme.
• Telecom/network domainexposureis highly desirable.
