Mid-Level Systems Security Engineer [$226k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary: • Perform technical security assessments and evaluate computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance with Information Assurance (IA) standards. • Define, analyze, and validate system security requirements while establishing comprehensive security designs. • Integrate security and IA principles, including cryptography and cross-domain solutions, into operational systems.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 7+ years • Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph • Required Certification: DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 compliance • Total Compensation: $226k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Serve as the security engineering representative on multi-disciplinary engineering teams for secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. • Design, develop, and integrate IA architectures, systems, and security components across complex environments. • Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures. • Conduct security planning, vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and risk management throughout the program life cycle. • Review certification and accreditation (C&&A) documentation for compliance, completeness, and adherence to security policies. • Implement identification, authentication, authorization, auditing, intrusion detection, and contingency planning solutions.
