SEN / SEND Tutor | Castleford, West Yorkshire | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate SEN/SEND tutors to join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with diverse educational and emotional needs. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact within local schools and authorities, offering flexible and rewarding work.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1-KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with learners experiencing MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other additional educational needs.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a preference for SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD experience.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Right to work in the UK.
