Location: Surbiton, Surrey (Hybrid 1 day a week onsite)
Salary: Up to £100k basic + Bonus + Benefits

This isn't a role where you'll inherit years of technical debt and simply maintain existing systems. You'll help build, improve and influence a platform that sits at the heart of the business's future data strategy.

What you'll be doing
You'll be involved in designing, building and enhancing scalable cloud-based data solutions, including:

• Developing robust data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Building and optimising modern data architectures.
• Working with large-scale datasets to support analytics and business intelligence.
• Collaborating with analysts, engineers and business stakeholders.
• Helping drive engineering best practice across the team.
• Solving complex data challenges and delivering pragmatic solutions.
• Contributing to the continuous evolution of a modern cloud data platform.

We're more interested in capability and attitude than ticking every box.
You'll likely have:

• Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer within GCP.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines and platforms.
• Expertise with technologies such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
• Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals.
• An engineering mindset and a passion for solving problems.
• Confidence working independently while remaining highly collaborative.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
