We are looking for Workday Functional Consultant - Remote / Telecommute for our client in San Jose, CA

Job Title: Workday Functional Consultant - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: San Jose, CA

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $47.00hr - $52.00hr

Job Overview:

Serve as the primary functional lead supporting Workday HCM production. Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, and IT stakeholders to manage production incidents, service requests, and system enhancements. Lead root cause analysis and coordinate resolution across functional and technical teams while providing governance for Workday configuration changes. Review and approve solution designs for functional enhancements, coordinate testing activities for Workday releases and production deployments, monitor production health, recommend continuous improvements, support post-go-live stabilization activities, and mentor offshore and nearshore AMS teams.

Required Qualifications / Must-Haves:

Bachelor s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or related discipline.
6 10+ years of Workday HCM functional experience.
Strong knowledge of Core HCM, Business Processes, Security, Organizations, Position Management, Supervisory Organizations, and Reporting.
Experience leading Workday production support.
Experience interacting directly with business stakeholders.
Strong incident management and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Multiple Workday certifications.
Experience leading AMS or Managed Services teams.
Experience with Workday implementations and post-production stabilization.
Experience supporting global HR organizations.
Knowledge of ITIL service management practices.
