Position: Business Development Executive


Location: Calicut

Reporting To: Head Office - Kochi

Qualification: MBA / 1 Year Experience in Sales


Job Summary


We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Executive based in Calicut to drive business growth and expand our presence across North Kerala.


This is a role requiring frequent client visits, face-to-face meetings, lead generation, and business development activities. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and converting opportunities into revenue.


The selected candidate will work remotely from Calicut while reporting directly to the Head Office in Kochi.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and generate new business opportunities across various industries including Retail, Healthcare, Education, BFSI, Real Estate, and E-commerce.
  • Conduct direct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with business decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, field visits, and market research.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable communication and messaging solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Submit regular sales reports and updates to the management team in Kochi.
  • Represent the company at business events, networking meetings, and industry gatherings whenever required.


Candidate Profile


Mandatory Requirements


  • MBA in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Calicut and nearby regions for client meetings.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with the head office.


Preferred Qualifications


  • 0-1 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Client Acquisition.
  • Experience in B2B sales will be highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of SaaS, CPaaS, WhatsApp Business API, RCS, SMS Solutions, or Technology Sales is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
