A leading Australian insurer is looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Business Analyst to join a major cyber security transformation program.
The role will suit a cyber security generalist who can work across a broad range of security initiatives and translate complex security requirements into practical business outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with cyber, technology and business stakeholders to support the delivery of security improvements across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business analysis activities across a range of cyber security initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to define security requirements, controls and business outcomes.
- Analyse and document current and future-state security processes and capabilities.
- Support initiatives across areas such as Security Controls, API Security, Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management and Cyber Risk.
- Facilitate workshops and engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate complex cyber security concepts into clear business requirements and documentation.
- Support the development of business cases, process maps, requirements and delivery documentation.
- Identify security gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong experience working as a Business Analyst within cyber security environments.
- Broad understanding of cyber security principles, controls, risks and technologies.
- Experience across areas such as Security Controls, API Security, Cloud Security, IAM, vulnerability management, cyber risk or security architecture.
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work effectively with Cyber Security, Technology and business teams.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation or security programs within complex organisations.
