Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer User Support Specialists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues through troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  2. Install, configure, maintain, and support computer systems, peripherals, and enterprise software applications.
  3. Monitor system performance, diagnose technical problems, and perform routine maintenance to ensure operational reliability.
  4. Document support requests, resolutions, technical procedures, and knowledge base articles to improve service delivery.

 

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

0–2 years of experience in technical support, IT help desk, desktop support, or user support services.

Technical Skills

Technical Support, Hardware Troubleshooting, Software Installation, Windows Operating Systems, Network Support, Desktop Support, Ticketing Systems, System Configuration

Business / Domain Skills

Customer Service, Problem Solving, Documentation, Incident Management, Communication, Time Management

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience supporting desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  2. Knowledge of operating systems, networking fundamentals, and IT support best practices.
  3. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
