Overview
The Director, Benefit Advisory is responsible for client relationship oversight, strategy, and revenue growth and retention.
How you'll make an impact
- Develop and maintain existing client relationships, serving as business advisor
- Evaluate client current state and identify potential solutions in line with client engagement
- Establish relationships with client decision makers
- Responsible for client satisfaction, revenue retention and growth
- Provide guidance to both clients and internal teams on performance management
- Utilize industry experience to identify key business challenges and recommend potential solutions
- Work with client and internal team to establish savings targets and goals
- Evaluate client data for purposes of directing recommended solutions
- Scrutinize supplier contracts to reduce client risk
- Interact and correspond with prospective clients
- Monitor client onboarding and supplier implementations
- Present solutions to clients via in-person meetings, web meetings or phone
- Maintain and update internal systems
- Create a team-based environment that reinforces Risk International’s values of intelligence, integrity, consistency, energy, advocacy, service, and respect
About You
Required:
- Bachelors degree and 5 years related experience required.
- Understanding of the key challenges in employee benefit plans and current health care trends.
- Excellent client relationship-building and presentation skills.
Preferred:
- Preference will be given to individuals who have completed the CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or have obtained their life and health insurance license.
