Algorithm Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Algorithm Engineer for a direct-hire role. This role will work onsite in Utah Valley, UT.

Key Responsibilities:
* Algorithm Engineer will participate in field testing
* Develop and refine control systems
* Improve control approaches
* Understand and model random variables and uncertainties
* As an Algorithm Engineer, you will integrate with other companies' technologies
* Explore additional parallel capabilities
* Perform accurate range measurements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Sensors experience
* Strong background in control systems and programming
* PID (Proportional Integrator Derivative), LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator), Trajectories - required
* C++ and Python - required
* Kalman Filters - required
* Field Testing required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
