The E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system is the cornerstone of Australia's National Air Defence Capability. It integrates advanced airborne surveillance, communications, and battle management technologies to deliver world-class early warning and control capabilities for our Australian defence customers.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Support Integration Specialist to join our team and contribute the operation of the E-7A Product Support System. As a Support Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in Product Support Surveillance, improving product supportability and monitoring product performance across the Airborne Mission Segment and Ground Support Segment of Sustainment for the E-7A Program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a cutting-edge Defence capability and make a significant to the future success of our organisation.
Responsibilities will include:- Support the operation of the E-7A Product Management System, ensuring effective surveillance and utilisation of E-7A Products throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supportability challenges, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Identify Product Risks, Issues and Opportunities to support resolution via participation in the E-7A program Risk and Governance management systems.
- Admin and coordination of Asset Status Reports (ASR's)
- Monitor and analyse product performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance overall system Supportability and Capability.
- Support system modeling activities, utilising advanced tools and techniques to simulate and optimise product performance and maintenance/logistics support strategies.
- Support execution and management of the E-7A product support and surveillance frameworks.
- Support the management of obsolescence and critical spares.
- Support deployment of BDA Digital Sustainment capabilities within the E-7A Program.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proven experience in Product/Asset Management, preferably in the Aerospace or Defence industry. Formal qualification in Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support, or an aviation related field will be highly regarded.
- Familiarity with Defence Product Management and/or ISO 55000 Asset Management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and recommend management strategies.
- Demonstrate understanding of obsolescence, DMS and managing critical spares.
- Ability to review and integrate the work of logistics and technical teams to enable optimum and cost-effective outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated collaboration abilities, with the capability to support change and influence others.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
