Role Overview

We are seeking two Equipment Automation & Software QA Engineers with hands-on experience supporting semiconductor process equipment. In this role, you will lead quality assurance for semiconductor equipment software, drive Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) automation, and support end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives within a cleanroom/fab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Quality Assurance: Perform hands-on QA, functional validation, and regression testing on semiconductor equipment control software.
• CIM & MES Integration: Support end-to-end CIM automation solutions by bridging equipment-level software with host MES platforms.
• Automation Development & Standards: Implement and troubleshoot SECS/GEM communication protocols according to SEMI standards.
• Root-Cause Analysis & Quality: Lead structured problem-solving and operational enhancements using Six Sigma, 8D, Kaizen, and 5-Whys methodologies.
• Project Delivery & Stakeholder Alignment: Manage multiple project deliverables concurrently aligned with standard PM lifecycles; communicate complex technical updates clearly to senior management and diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge Management: Document test procedures, architecture changes, and troubleshooting playbooks to maintain internal operational knowledge bases.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Domain Experience: Direct hands-on background supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment, with explicit experience on Process Tools.
• Protocols & Standards: Solid working knowledge of SEMI standards and the SECS/GEM protocol suite.
• Software & Scripting: Practical proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, and Visual Studio.
• Database & OS: Hands-on experience querying relational databases (SQL / Oracle) across Windows and Unix/Linux enterprise environments.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks (8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5-Whys).
• Project Coordination: Strong technical project tracking and communication skills across multi-functional engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior development experience as a Semiconductor Equipment Automation Developer.
• Experience integrating tool communications directly with enterprise MES solutions.
