Lead / Senior C/C++ Engineer

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with C and C++
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with Pair Programming
• Strong understanding of SAFe / Agile methodologies
• Scripting experience with Shell, TCL, Perl, Python, or similar
• Strong understanding of throughput, latency, memory utilization, and CPU utilization
• Experience with software performance testing and optimization

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with feature teams to identify performance risks and anticipate issues before releases.
• Analyze application code to identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Design, configure, automate, and execute performance tests.
• Improve performance testing environments through coding, automation, and integration of external tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile/SAFe environment.
• Develop and maintain software using C/C++, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Senior or Lead-level software engineer with strong C/C++ development experience.
• Solid Linux and scripting background.
• Strong hands-on experience in software performance engineering/testing.
• Comfortable with TDD, pair programming, and Agile/SAFe practices.
• Able to troubleshoot complex performance issues involving CPU, memory, latency, and throughput.
