Cloud Infrastructure System Architect

Scope of Work:

The contractor will support systems for allowing and securing access to COVID-19 applications and data via Health Commerce System (HCS). The Systems Architect will design service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service, and software as a service using IBM DataPower, WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Identity Manager. The Systems Architect will design secure applications using security AP Is, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, OAuth, and multi-factor authentication. OFR approved Other Infectious Disease expansion.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Proposal Response.
• 6 years’ experience development in medium to large-scale technical projects and assuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented.
• 6 years’ experience in designing infrastructure solutions like virtualization, Storage, Middleware, Cloud Infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 years’ experience in managing virtualization like VMware, OpenShift Virtualization, AWS EC2, AWS VPC
• 6 years’ experience managing backups using Veeam, Veeam Kasten, AWS Backup Solutions
• 6 years’ experience with managing high available infrastructure, use of load balancers, managing multi region data replication.
• 6 years’ experience in performing monitoring and logging functions across multi region data centers and cloud solutions.
• 6 years’ experience with Orchestration and infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible.
