Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect with Microsoft Fabric

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead enterprise data modernization and migration initiatives from Informatica to Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the existing Informatica environment, defining the migration strategy, designing the target-state Microsoft Fabric architecture, and driving the overall engagement from discovery through execution. This role requires deep expertise in data architecture, Microsoft Fabric, cloud migration, stakeholder management, and technical consulting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise solution architecture.
• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), or similar ETL platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including OneLake, Data Factory, Data Engineering, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI.
• Experience defining enterprise migration strategies and modernization roadmaps.
• Proven ability to conduct architecture assessments and solution discovery workshops.
• Experience preparing TCO, ROI, and executive-level business cases.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Experience with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Qualifications:

·         Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.

·         Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

·         Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
