Dental Assistant (Surgical & Implant)

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated private dental practice in Shelby Township, MI, to find an experienced Dental Assistant to join their established team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a close-knit, highly experienced environment and has a strong background in surgical procedures and implant dentistry.

What You'll Do

• Assist with surgical and implant dentistry procedures
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, materials, and treatment rooms
• Obtain and coordinate medical clearances
• Support the dentist and clinical team throughout procedures
• Provide exceptional patient care and build strong patient relationships
• Stay organized and maintain excellent time management in a busy environment
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of dental assisting experience required
• Experience with surgical procedures and implant dentistry
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and patient relationship-building skills
• Team player with a positive, dependable attitude
• Calm and level-headed when the office gets busy
• OpenDental experience preferred

Schedule

• Monday & Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• $24–$30/hour, based on experience
