Quick Overview
Job Description
We are a well-funded biotech company that is redefining biologics discovery and development through our fully integrated platform. We combine ultra-high-throughput microfluidics driven functional screening, computational engineering, and translational immunology into a unified engine. Rather than approaching biologics development as a series of disconnected steps, we seamlessly integrate the discovery of novel targets, functional screening of binders, computational optimization, and predictive safety assessment to develop more better and safer therapeutics. This end-to-end approach enables faster iteration, deeper biological insight, and the development of better TCEs with greater precision and confidence.
We are currently looking for an antibody development scientist to join our interdisciplinary team. The candidate is expected to adapt quickly and communicate well, especially in a fast-paced startup environment. They will collaborate with other team members and be part of an exciting journey. We pay competitive salaries with bonus and equity, plus full benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401k match, commuter benefits and daily lunch.
Responsibilities:
- Design T-cell engagers and execute their development and optimization campaigns.
- Work with internal and external team on antibody discovery, characterization, and production.
- Drive developability and manufacturability assessments.
- Manage external relationships and deliverables.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with computational scientists and immunologists to optimize and validate candidate molecules through iterative engineering and in vitro/in vivo studies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- PhD degree in Biochemistry, Protein engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in biochemistry, protein engineering, and Molecular Biology.
- 2+ years industry experience leading the design, production, and developability optimization of multi-specific antibodies.
- Experience with antibody discovery/engineering using phage/yeast display is a plus.
- Experience with in vitro functional studies of multi-specific antibodies is a plus.
- Experience working with CROs is plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, take initiative, and drive projects forward independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation:
- $120,000 - $160,000 (depending on the depth of expertise) + 4% 401K match + 10% performance bonus + equity.
- We will also consider a Principal Scientist with proven technical expertise plus cross-functional project leadership. Compensation will be adjusted accordingly.
Benefits:
- Daily lunches; Commuter Benefits; Unlimited snacks and drinks.
- Medical, Dental, Vision; 100% Premium Covered.
- Disability Insurance, Life Insurance; Workplace Insurance
