Job description

CEL Critical Power is a global provider of mission-critical power solutions operating at the centre of the AI, hyperscale data centre and critical infrastructure ecosystem.

Demand for CEL’s products is strong and accelerating. The challenge is not sales demand, it is executing growth at pace without compromising delivery certainty, production discipline or customer trust.

Operating from its Irish base, CEL continues to scale its production capability in parallel with its US expansion, with similar ambitions to significantly increase output over the coming years.

Ireland remains central to CEL’s global operating model and will continue to play a critical role in delivering high-quality, engineered products at scale.

About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead high-volume recruitment for CEL’s production and hourly workforce in Ireland, translating workforce requirements into targeted recruitment activity and delivering hires at scale.

This is a hands-on recruitment role combining recruitment delivery with ownership of recruitment systems, processes and data. You will manage recruitment campaigns for roles including General Operators, Skilled Operators, Electricians, Testers, Apprentices and Supervisors, while ensuring candidates are effectively managed through the ATS from application through to hire.

You will also take ownership of ATS administration and recruitment reporting, giving the business clear visibility of hiring progress, pipeline performance, recruitment costs and source effectiveness.

Volume Recruitment

  • Translate production headcount plans into clear hiring targets by role, site, shift and required start date.
  • Deliver high-volume recruitment across production and operational positions including General Operators, Skilled Operators, Electricians, Testers, Apprentices and Supervisors.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring and high-demand positions.
  • Plan and deliver sourcing days, assessment days and high-volume recruitment events, including same-day conditional offers where appropriate.
  • Manage candidates efficiently from application and assessment through to offer acceptance and confirmed start date.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce time-to-offer while maintaining a fair and consistent recruitment process.

ATS Ownership & Recruitment Data

  • Act as the operational owner of the ATS for volume recruitment, including job set-up, recruitment pipelines, scorecards, templates, talent pools and user access.
  • Ensure all candidates are accurately captured and progressed through the ATS, with source, stage and outcome consistently recorded.
  • Train and support hiring managers and recruitment agencies in effective ATS use and maintain high standards of data quality.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reporting on hires against plan
  • Use recruitment data to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and inform future recruitment activity and investment.

Sourcing & Agency Management

  • Develop sourcing strategies for high-volume and recurring operational vacancies.
  • Manage job-board advertising, CV database searches, direct candidate outreach and employee referrals.
  • Manage CEL's recruitment agency panel against agreed service levels, recruitment fees and performance expectations.
  • Monitor agency performance through regular reporting and scorecards.
  • Identify opportunities to increase direct hiring and improve source effectiveness.

Compliance & Candidate Experience

  • Deliver a consistent, professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure recruitment and selection processes are fair, consistent and compliant with relevant Irish employment legislation.
  • Coordinate right-to-work and employment-permit checks as required.
  • Maintain candidate information in line with GDPR and internal data-management requirements.
  • Ensure complete and accurate handover of successful candidates into the onboarding process.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Human Resources, Administration or related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, including at least 2 years' experience delivering high-volume hourly, operational or production recruitment within manufacturing, engineering, logistics or a similar fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience using an Applicant Tracking System, ideally Workable, including job configuration, recruitment workflows and reporting.
  • Experience delivering high-volume recruitment campaigns, assessment days and recruitment events.
  • Strong understanding of candidate sourcing through job boards, direct search, referrals and other recruitment channels.
  • Confident working with recruitment data and metrics to track performance and inform hiring activity.

Desirable

  • Experience hiring across multiple shift patterns or operational locations.
  • Experience designing or improving ATS workflows, templates or reports.
  • Experience working within a growing or scaling manufacturing organisation.
