Production Support Engineer/Analyst (Investment Experience)

Primary focus: Production support rather than software development.
Required background:
Strong technical background with investment-industry knowledge.
Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting issues.
AWS and Python knowledge.
Some Java familiarity.
Ability to read and trace application/system logs, particularly in a trading environment.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with portfolio managers and other investment professionals.
Investment knowledge is critical. The hiring manager emphasized that candidates need to understand investment terminology and concepts well enough to communicate intelligently with portfolio managers.
Developer profile is not the target. The manager specifically does not want a pure developer or someone focused primarily on writing code. The ideal candidate understands the technology and can troubleshoot, analyze logs, trace issues, and support production.
