Business Development Manager - Digital Health & MedTech Partnerships
Quick Overview
Job Description
Location: Bengaluru / Karnataka
Organisation: iKure Techsoft Pvt. Ltd.
Role Type: Full-time
Experience: 4-8 years preferred
iKure is looking for a smart and solution-oriented Business Development Manager - Digital Health & MedTech Partnerships to drive growth in Karnataka, with a focus on WHIMS licensing, digital health solutions, medtech-enabled care models, and institutional healthcare partnerships.
This is a Karnataka-focused role and will require the person to build relationships across Bengaluru and other key districts in the state with healthcare organisations, clinics, hospitals, NGOs, CSR partners, foundations, medtech companies, academic institutions, and public health implementation partners.
This role is different from routine corporate sales or health camp execution. We are looking for someone who can understand healthcare technology, explain solution value to partners, support product demos, manage pilots, and help build scalable partnerships around digital health, medtech, primary care, and continuum-of-care programs.
The person should be comfortable working at the intersection of technology, healthcare delivery, medtech devices, primary care, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development for WHIMS licensing and iKure's digital health solutions across Karnataka.
- Identify and engage healthcare organisations, clinics, hospitals, NGOs, CSR partners, foundations, academic institutions, medtech companies, and public health partners in Karnataka.
- Build opportunities for platform licensing, technology adoption, medtech-enabled screening, digital primary care, and continuum-of-care programs.
- Support product demos, partner presentations, solution walkthroughs, pilot discussions, and field-level implementation planning.
- Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders in healthcare institutions, medtech companies, CSR/foundation teams, public health organisations, and implementation partners.
- Develop partnership models for WHIMS licensing, SaaS/platform use, medtech deployment, diagnostic workflows, screening programs, chronic care pathways, and primary care delivery.
- Support deployment of medtech and diagnostic devices within iKure's care model, including field feasibility, workflow fit, pricing, training, serviceability, and implementation planning.
- Work closely with iKure's technology, medical, operations, research, and leadership teams to translate partner needs into practical solutions.
- Prepare proposals, concept notes, pricing models, demo decks, pilot plans, implementation notes, and partner follow-up documents.
- Track licensing opportunities, partner conversations, pilot progress, commercial discussions, and closure timelines.
- Map Karnataka-based opportunities across healthcare providers, clinics, medtech players, CSR programs, academic institutions, public health networks, and implementation partners.
- Identify opportunities where WHIMS, AI-enabled workflows, medtech devices, community health workers, clinics, and care pathways can be combined into scalable health programs.
- Coordinate post-closure handover with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, training, implementation, and partner satisfaction.
- Bring market intelligence on digital health, medtech adoption, healthcare SaaS, primary care, NCD programs, eye care, diagnostics, and institutional healthcare opportunities in Karnataka.
- Travel across Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka for partner meetings, demos, pilots, field visits, and program reviews.
What We Are Looking For
- 4-8 years of experience in healthcare business development, digital health, health-tech SaaS, medtech, diagnostics, hospital partnerships, healthcare consulting, public health programs, or institutional partnerships.
- Prior experience in selling or implementing healthcare technology platforms, digital health solutions, medical devices, diagnostics, clinical workflow tools, or medtech-enabled programs will be strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of the Karnataka healthcare, startup, medtech, hospital, CSR, academic, or public health ecosystem will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand technology-led healthcare solutions and explain them clearly to partners.
- Comfortable with product demos, partner meetings, proposal development, pilot planning, solution selling, and field coordination.
- Strong relationship-building skills with hospitals, clinics, medtech companies, CSR partners, NGOs, foundations, healthcare institutions, and public health organisations.
- Ability to work closely with technology and medical teams to understand product capabilities and partner requirements.
- Good commercial understanding, including pricing, licensing models, pilot structures, partner agreements, and implementation terms.
- Strong communication skills in English. Kannada will be a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Bengaluru and Karnataka.
- Practical, organised, self-driven, and comfortable working in a growing, founder-led healthcare organisation.

Why Join iKure
iKure is building an integrated continuum-of-care model that connects community health workers, primary care clinics, AI-enabled workflows, medtech devices, diagnostics, chronic care, and population health insights.
This role offers the opportunity to help scale WHIMS licensing and medtech-enabled healthcare solutions across Karnataka, working with partners who are looking for practical, technology-enabled healthcare delivery models.
