Job Description

SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.


We are looking for a Development Project Manager (Engineer) to join our team and lead activities on new product introductions and product improvements.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Working on customer driven projects, ensuring that projects run to schedule
  • Establishing production routes for new parts, including Pressing, Heat Treatment, Post Processing e.g. Machining, Dimensional studies, Magnetic Testing and Materials Testing
  • Ensuring correct product introduction (APQP) is maintained
  • Evaluating customer specifications
  • Writing technical specifications for SGT processes
  • Ensuring products are able to run in a stable and robust manor through trials and evaluation of data

Required Skills and Experience:

  • University Degree in Engineering discipline.
  • Ideally have minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within Automotive industry
  • Ability to achieve objectives through teamwork and influence
  • Disciplined and logical approach to goal setting and problem solving
  • Having a hands-on approach in completing tasks and activities
  • Ability to communicate with all parties involved in projects including external parties

Work pattern:

Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm.

After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9-day fortnight.
