Senior Systems Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support platform health, modernization, and growth initiatives for enterprise applications and systems. This role will focus on driving product launches, supporting advisor tools and system integrations, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Support platform health, modernization, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives for enterprise applications and systems. Drive initiatives supporting product launches, advisor tools, and system integrations. Research, analyze, and document business and system requirements for moderate to complex software solutions. Develop and maintain user stories, functional specifications, data mappings, and other solution artifacts. Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Technical Leads to define and implement effective solutions. Analyze system interactions and communicate complex technical concepts through diagrams and clear documentation. Produce business process flows, system flow diagrams, and technical documentation. Coordinate application releases and support deployment activities. Perform production incident analysis using Splunk, including developing queries, dashboards, and alerts. Support API integration initiatives utilizing REST, SOAP, JSON, and related technologies. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative software delivery. Partner with technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution implementation. Maintain end-to-end understanding of application and system interactions across integrated platforms. Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional experience as a Systems Analyst supporting software solutions. Experience researching, analyzing, optimizing, and documenting solution requirements, user stories, specifications, and data mappings. Strong knowledge of SQL and general programming concepts. Experience working with REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, and API integrations. Experience working in Agile software development environments. Experience using Jira or similar Scrum management tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Experience coordinating software releases. Ability to understand application code, business logic, and technical architecture. Experience creating business flow diagrams, process documentation, and technical artifacts. Understanding of solution architecture and experience collaborating with Architects, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads. Strong knowledge of end-to-end system interactions across integrated enterprise applications. Experience performing production support and incident analysis using Splunk, including dashboard and alert creation. Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin and Cucumber. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise platform modernization initiatives. Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional Agile teams.
