Job Description
We are seeking a Traveling Skilled Laborer / Booth Installer to join our installation team. In this role, you will travel to job sites across the country to assemble, install, and dismantle prefabricated booths, modular structures, retail displays, and custom installations. This position is ideal for someone with construction or carpentry experience who enjoys traveling, working with their hands, and being part of a fast-paced team.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable using hand and power tools while working in a variety of environments.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install prefabricated booths, modular structures, displays, and fixtures
- Read and interpret installation drawings, layouts, and basic assembly instructions
- Use hand and power tools including drills, impact drivers, saws, levels, and measuring tools
- Measure, level, align, and secure components to ensure accurate installation
- Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, equipment, and tools
- Assist with tear-down and relocation of booth systems when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company and customer safety procedures
- Work efficiently with the installation team to meet project schedules and deadlines
- Report any installation issues or material shortages to the project lead
- Represent the company professionally while working at customer locations nationwide
- 2+ years of carpentry, construction, installation, or skilled labor experience
- Experience using common hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read tape measures and perform basic measurements
- Physically able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working on your feet throughout the day
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to designated meeting locations
- Willingness to travel extensively for projects, including overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling trade show exhibits, modular buildings, retail fixtures, kiosks, or prefabricated structures
- Finish carpentry or millwork experience
- Experience with warehouse logistics or material handling
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Forklift or aerial lift certification (preferred but not required)
