Nordic Rates Sales - Associate/VP - Selby Jennings

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Scandinavian institutional clients.
• Market Nordic and European rates products, including government bonds, interest rate swaps, inflation products and STIR products.
• Generate trade ideas and relative value opportunities across rates markets.
• Provide clients with market colour and insight on macroeconomic developments, central bank policy and fixed income markets.
• Work closely with trading, research, syndicate and structuring teams to deliver investment opportunities to clients.
• Drive revenue growth across the Nordic institutional franchise.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of client portfolios, investment themes and market positioning.

Requirements

• Experience within Rates Sales, Fixed Income Sales or Institutional Sales.
• Strong knowledge of Nordic and European rates markets.
• Existing relationships with Scandinavian institutional clients are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and generate revenues.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent English required; a Nordic language would be beneficial.
