POSITION SUMMARY
10+ yrs exp, atleast 3 years onsite experience

• Will participate in test planning to determine which test cases to automate and which ones to execute for each project/release
• Manage day to day automation repository, and the CI environment ensuring the test scripts run without error in the target environment with the support and direction from QA Management
• Development and maintenance of automation framework(s) to support API and UI based testing
• Development of Test Plans
• Participate in-Sprint automation of test cases
• For each release, determine automation candidates based on developed selection criteria
• Conversion of requirements, user stories, design documents, and/or existing manual test cases into a set of automation scripts, ensuring compliance with development methodology and framework
• Development and maintenance of Sanity, Smoke, System, E2E and Regression Test types
• Routine maintenance of existing test scripts (i.e. anticipate changes and update scripts accordingly)
• Regular collection of metrics to understand and track the time and cost savings
• Daily progress reports and escalates any testing or automation issues
