Job Description

Cura of Watkins is seeking a detail-oriented and organized RN Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth operation of the nursing unit. As an RN Coordinator, you will coordinate communication between patients, nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members while maintaining thorough and accurate documentation. This position requires excellent communication skills, and a commitment to supporting quality patient care within a healthcare environment. This position is fulltime, including every 3rd weekend. No holidays. This position typically goes from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, however there is flexibility with this managerial position, with the ability to flex hours for personal appointments, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage daily activities of the nursing unit to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Serve as a communication link between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Track and monitor patient care activities and staffing assignments.
  • Support compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
  • Address patient and family inquiries along side the Social Service Coordinator promptly with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate quality patient outcomes.

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Proven experience in clinical nursing and/or healthcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and office software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
