We're hiring on behalf of a renowned industrial leader in the electrical sector with a global presence. This company is known for its innovation and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a skilled Machine and Plant Operator to join their dynamic team in Heidelberg.

The Role

• Ensure smooth production flow through independent operation and monitoring of assembly and testing equipment.
• Conduct repairs, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, along with troubleshooting and fault analysis.
• Set up equipment according to production orders and perform maintenance and upkeep tasks, including documentation.
• Adjust and monitor welding processes, and supervise testing procedures (thermal and magnetic).
• Maintain and inspect safety devices to guarantee a safe working environment.

What You'll Need

• Completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, tool mechanic, plant mechanic, production mechanic, toolmaker, mechatronics technician, machine and plant operator, or a comparable qualification.
• Solid understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, and experience with assembly and testing equipment.
• Previous experience in fault analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production machinery.
• Physical resilience and readiness for tasks involving significant standing and walking.
• Good command of the German language in both spoken and written forms.
