Title: Mainframe CICS System Administrator

Location: Chandler, AZ; Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; and Jersey City, NJ from Day 1 (Client prefer local folks)

Hybrid Schedule: 3 Onsite Days (Tue, Wed, Thur) & 2 Remote Days (Mon, Fri)

Duration: 6+ months, extendable
Mode of Interview: 2 Rounds – F2F/In-person

Job Description:

• Responsible for administering, maintaining, upgrading, and tuning CICS Transaction Server environments across production, test, and disaster-recovery regions.

Mandatory requirements include:

• Hands-on CICS Transaction Server administration on IBM z/OS
• CICS installation, upgrades, PTF application, and maintenance
• Configuration and support of CICS regions
• Knowledge of DFHSIT and CICS system initialization parameters
• Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Ability to analyze transaction response time, CPU utilization, and storage usage
• Willingness to work onsite three days per week

Preferred experience:

• Experience supporting production, test, and DR CICS environments
• Experience with OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMON
• CICS performance tuning and bottleneck elimination
