Job Description

PKI System Administrator | Bowie, MD, United States | On-site | $73,450.00 - $132,775.00 This employer is a leading technology solutions provider for the government sector, known for its innovative approach to complex IT challenges. They are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join a critical enterprise IT contract, ensuring the seamless operation of advanced systems within a multi-enclave environment. The Role • Provide systems and software operations and maintenance support in a large, complex network enterprise. • Manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) operations, including server maintenance, patching, upgrades, and implementation of new technologies. • Assist walk-up and remote customers with PKI-related issues and train remote Trusted Agents. • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain PKI, RCVS, OCSP, and other Identity Management systems. • Enforce security strategies and policies within Identity and Access Management (IdAM) functions. • Document troubleshooting procedures for IT Operations Center personnel and mentor junior team members. What You'll Need • Experience with customer interaction, incident management, and stakeholder coordination. • Proficiency in PKI technologies such as RCVS, OCSP, and Certificate Authorities. • Familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) systems security standards. • Experience with issuing, troubleshooting, and managing token cards for multi-factor authentication. • Ability to troubleshoot soft certificate issues for local and remote users. • Experience with Tier 2 system/server administration and utilizing ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow). • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
